Destine to fish from age five, David spent his younger years fishing between school and sports practices.
The competitive spirit was strong in him as he took on football, basketball, and baseball, which he eventually surrendered for fishing professionally.
He turned pro at the age of 19 and broke records for being the youngest ever to win a Bassmaster event and then the youngest ever to fish the Bassmaster classic.
He has won nearly every title in professional bass fishing, including: Bassmaster events, Costa events FLW tour events, FLW Championship, 3 time FLW Angler of the Year, Ranger M1 event, Ultimate Match Fishing series.
David has maintained the highest payout winner on the FLW tour for over 14 years.
He resides in Lynchburg, VA with his wife and 5 children. They live on a horse farm where they offer a ministry for their local community.
